In a game of few chances, Watford managed to hold off the desperate Swansea. The first and only goal of the game came right before half time when Etienne Capoue followed up to tap home a rebound following Lukasz Fabianski’s save, his first goal in 19 PL games, after scoring 5 in his previous 12 this season. That was pretty much it. Swansea needed 3 points to jump out of the relegation zone, but, instead, they continue to attempt their escape. Watford actually kept another clean sheet, their third in a row at home for the first time since September 2015.
